Indication of Sr Isotopes on Weathering Process of Carbonate Rocks in Karst Area of Southwest China

Based on the determination of major and trace element content, Sr isotope composition soils from limestone dolomite profiles in karst area Southwest (SW) China, this study discussed distribution migration characteristics elements influencing factors fractionation, order to better understand chemical weathering pedogenesis process, as well explore material source laterite. The analysis results (Chemical Index Alteration, mass balance coefficient, A-CN-K ternary) indicate that intensity profile PB is higher than CZ CY. correlation between isotopes P2O5 suggests addition illite, apatite also affects 87Sr/86Sr composition. content demonstrate two stages process carbonate, carbonate dissolution stage, residual silicate stage. As minerals dissolve at beginning weathering, decreases increases slightly. After decomposition remains unchanged increases. Finally, laterite more likely be underlying bedrock rather aeolian source.
